In 1972, the German engineering Group, Joh. Friedrich Behrens (BeA), purchased a small staple manufacturer in Yorkshire. This company is now BeA Fastening Systems Limited and is proud to have been one of the cornerstones of the BeA success story.

In 1997, the company purchased its own collated nail manufacturing plant in Scotland which to this day remains the sole UK fastening manufacturer.
